Avalokitesvara has a serene and compassionate face with a smile, wearing a crown inlaid with various gems and jade. His robes are flowing, showing the artistic temperament of a sage. The two main hands are in the Anjali Mudra on the chest. The right hand holds a crystal rosary (Mala), symbolizing the continuous recitation of the six-syllable mantra "Om Mani Padme Hum". The left hand holds a lotus (Utpala), symbolizing purity, spiritual sublimation, and enlightenment. Avalokitesvara sits upon a lotus pedestal in a meditative posture, with the robe's flowing from his arms to the seat, elegant and dynamic, and finely crafted.
