Four-Armed Chenrezig: The Radiant Buddha of Loving-Kindness

This statue of Four-Armed Chenrezig (Avalokiteshvara) was handcrafted by skilled craftsmen working with. The statue was crafted using the traditional lost-wax casting technique, hand-carved with attention to detail, and carefully polished. Made from copper, it features an oxidized patina finish that enhances its intricate details and lends a refined, antique charm.

The statue’s facial expression is peaceful and serene, radiating the boundless compassion that defines the "Lord of Love." His eyes are slightly closed in a meditative state. He wears a magnificent jeweled crown and his hair is tied in a high topknot, representing his royal lineage as a Bodhisattva. His two central hands are joined at his heart in the Anjali Mudra (prayer gesture), holding a wish-fulfilling jewel that symbolizes the spirit of enlightenment.

In his upper right hand, he holds a crystal mala (rosary), signifying his continuous cycle of pulling beings out of suffering; in his upper left, he holds a lotus flower, symbolizing the blossoming of pure wisdom even in the midst of worldly mud. The figure is richly adorned with turquoise and coral-colored inlays, along with delicate necklaces and bone jewelry. He is seated in the Vajra posture on a beautifully detailed double-lotus pedestal, signifying his unshakeable stability and purity.

This statue is not only a beautiful collectible art work, but also a Dharma instrument to help practitioners advance.
